So it looks like after two years of looking for a job with varying levels of optimism/effort/self-loathing, I'm at last about to enter the magical world of crappy fast food employment.

I feel like this calls for some sort of coinciding congratulations and condolences. Congratulamentations?

If you haven't been following astrology news, and lord knows I haven't -- and/or don't pay attention to facebook, which ditto -- apparently the ambiguous Ophiuchus has been getting some press lately. Since Gloria first came to the shelter as a very young kitten, we have in her vet records a reasonable estimate of when she was born. I say "estimate" in the sense of a four-day-or-so range, but I took it as my prerogative to pick one. Thus, today, January 8 2011, is her second birthday. (And her first with us ( Read more... )

Last week I got a new cell phone. It's pink and more importantly it has a relatively decent-ish camera (by my standards, anyway). Maybe I should revive this LJ to turn it over completely to posting pictures of Gloria. And other kitties sometimes, but Gloria is the cutest cat.
