Chinese utes

Last year, a Great Wall dealership opened a couple of miles down the road from us. It seems that this huge ginormous Chinese motor manufacturer has been going for over 35 years in China but only started exporting their vehicles five years ago. Great Wall vehicles have a reputation for being inversely as durable as the manufacturer's namesake.

goldengrove has a theory that you can pick 'girls' vs 'boys' cars. Girl cars sound like social diseases, boy cars sound like condom brands...

I'd have to say that Coolbear is, by this theory, a boy car and Peri pretty much has to be a girl one :)

Hmm. Where does this leave numbers and letters? Many of my favourite and least favourite cars (owned) over the years included such. MGA, Austin-Healey 3000, TR-4, BMW 320i, Mazda 323, Austin 1300, and so on. And there was some sort of Gamma in there somewhere - no wait, that was a Lancia Delta...
