I find solace in retail therapy, but I don't get to indulge in it as often as I need solace, that's for sure.

Tonight, though, in an attempt to rescue this week from misery, I'm having dinner with a friend. I'm hoping it works. Wishing you happier days soon.

I like Ralph Lauren's clothes well enough, but what I really like is that a lot of them have a monogram that matches mine.

First ladies, queens and yours truely spell it E-L-E-A-N-O-R. That is correct.

E-L-E-A-N-O-R-E or E-L-I-N-O-R or E-L-I-N-O-R-E, they're just wrong.
