I have had a really difficult time this semester due to an over-the-top workload. I'm seeing more clients than is ethically sound (while getting fucked in my paycheck), so things have been kind of stressful. This week has kind of sucked. Work is extremely stressful right now, partly because I am now licensed, so my workload had increased with licensure stuff and there's a lot more pressure on me due to law type stuff that can cause me to lose my license or be sued. Numb face!
I am grateful that I was finally able to go see the little boy with a SCI and get his mother to sign consent. I feel like I've been going around in circles trying to get her to agree to counseling in any firm way. It's in his IEP, so I am legally obligated to provide this service. Short
Just hanging out in Queen Creek, hoping that I'll get a chance to see a client (if his mom actually shows up). The process of actually getting this client in the position to receive counseling has been way too difficult. Two days worth of gratefulnness
I can't believe it's already Thursday night! This week has gone by amazingly fast and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by the amount of paperwork I need to catch up on. Another grateful day
Today was kind of frustrating for me. Sessions just did not go the way I wanted them to go and I am just more and more concerned about the little girl I've mentioned before. Day whatever
1. I am grateful that my cold is finally wrapping up. I spent my night coughing up my lungs, but today I was semi-functional and didn't feel like I was dying at any point. I was actually able to get a little work done although not as much as I intended this weekend. I'll just have to really bear down this week ( Read more... ) -

Been making lists in my head the past few days. Too sick to write them now, so here's today:
1. My mom for bringing me medicine and soup
2. The cleaning lady for cleaning very excitedly
3. Medicine for making me somewhat functional
Now back to being sick! -
Day 11
First day back to work and the stress is already on! I have to re-do all of my kid's IEPs, I have to keep an additional record of notes for the school (they can't have access to the "real" records which are confidential), and I have to start keeping supervision notes.
