We started a vegetable garden.

I have to say "we" because two of my friends helped me build it. (They are awesome, btw.) The soil where I live is toxic to plants (excluding mutant ginger plants that threaten to take over my yard), so we made an above-ground planter for the veggies.

There is something about rubbing spices on a rack of ribs and smoking them for half a day that is really fulfilling to me. Those of you who have not yet had the pleasure of barbecuing might think of this as laziness. I disagree.
