I have this and about 10 other Hard Case Crime books on my To Be Read pile. Just got the newest, "Fifty To One," last night.

They're not great literature, but they're pretty fun to read in small doses, especially when you need something not too demanding that can fit in a pocket.

That's exactly why I love them! The first one I read was the King "Colorado Kid," and then Cornell Woolrich's "Fright" (which really makes me want to find his original short story of "Rear Window" now).
