Got back a little while ago from visiting my village family in Palmarin, possibly the most beautiful place on earth. I have to say, palm, baobab, and mango trees mixed with the atlantic ocean, a beach with white powdery sand, and some of the nicest people I have ever met makes a winning combination. Senegal's soccer team "Les Lyons" beat Guinee today causing the city of Dakar to erupt in celebration. You could hear people honking their car horns from miles around as people waived the senegalese flag and danced in the streets. Even my shy ten year old host brother would do a crazy senegalese style dance everytime they scored a goal. I cant even ( Read more... )
