Hear now the good news, o ye people of the intarwebs: my computer has finally been repaired.  It turns out the CPU was bad all along.  It's gratifying (and very, very frustrating) to know that if they'd listened to me in the first place I'd have had a working computer last fall.  Better late than never, eh?  Anyway, I get to spend the evening

Good, I kept that night free. I am unsure of which halloween costume will be appearing.

Same here. I really want to drag xp into a cutesy couples costume set with a very "us" twist - perhaps something from the Revenger's Tragedy or out of Marlowe. Faustus and Helen would be great if people knew who they were.

That's so very sweet. I've only ever received flowers from Raul twice, but that first time, boy was it a doozey!

I will be trick-or-treating with Raul and his brother in the early evening, but you can count on me being there afterwards. One question though, would you mind if I brought Raul along? We're most likely going to have some lame couples thing going on (I'm pushing for a Batman theme) and I just wouldn't make any sense without him =P

Also, what in the world do you want for your birthday? I have no idea, so please, PLEASE suggest something or all you get is a bottle of (delicious) booze.

Raul is absolutely invited. xp has to have someone to play with. As for what to get me, well, I like books and Doctor Who stuff, so that would be nifty. I dunno. If The Dark Knight is out on dvd by then, it would be cool. Whatever you want to get will I'm sure be fantastic.

No live animal gifts, though. Not even fish. Animals die, and that freaks me out.
