After the blinding gaudiness of the wigs, this deck appears depressingly normal and grey. Much like the first deck they encountered, this one follows an industrial theme, though it is kept sparklingly clean, and the harsh scent of disinfectant makes it smell disturbingly like a hospital emergency room

As is her M.O., Lily trots into the unknown. The scent of disinfectant practically burns her nostrils. It's disgusting, and it brings up bad memories. Memories of times long gone. Memories of times she would never return to even if she was pressured.

Underground.

This is why Lily's stride is slower, less confident. She takes the stairs one at a time, nice and slow. The first thing she sees on the platform is the creepy doll, which Lily examines closely.

The doll smiles blankly at Lily, its eyes glassy and lifeless. It's wearing a pretty pink dress, with blue flowers embroidered on it.

One little patent shoe is missing.

Well, that's weird. Lily would never let her dolls lose their shoes. Anyway, that observation window looks very, very interesting, and Lily moves to peer through it.

The room below is mostly empty. A few chairs that look like they belong in a dentist's office are lined up neatly in a row, except that dentist chairs don't come with thick leather restraints and IV stands.

Three creatures mill around the room slowly, sweeping the floor and organizing vials and bottles of bright blue liquid. They're disturbing, unholy creatures, like horses that walk upright with human hands and staring, soulless eyes.

Lilith treads more lightly after the debacle with Boar. She is keenly aware of her surroundings, and the chemical stink repulses and agitates her.

One foreign twitch and she'll zoom into Phasewalk. Her steps fall not too far behind Lily, but they aren't close by any stretch. Lilith sneers at the doll, following its line of sight.

The doll smiles pleasantly back.

Jane doesn't like dolls. They're creepy. She decides to head over to the window.

She will see the very same scene that Lily observes, looking down to the room below them.

The elevator doors swish open and the smell of cleaners nearly makes him cough. This could be the floor.

Leonardo can't contain his eagerness and quickly jogs out of the elevator, glancing at the doors down the hallway; are they locked? He moves to the nearest one to test it.

The door handle turns easily, and the door clicks open.

Leonardo turns to hiss over his shoulder, "Mikey. Come over here." He slung his a bokken out from his belt, holding it at the ready as he pushes further into the room.

Trotting over from the stairs, Mikey follows Leo's lead, unhooking a nunchaku and tucking one end beneath his arm. He stays silent; this is entirely too important for jokes.

A hospital emergency room?

Oh. fuck.

Gideon has to force himself to move in deeper, although it's hard for him to keep from blanching. He hates hospitals, and the context just makes this all the creepier.

The smell only grows stronger the further he ventures.

The drummer groans quietly and keeps walking. The doors catch his attention... and he once again fears what he'll find behind them. Ignoring the stench, he puts his hand around one of the door handles and sees if it will open.

Click! The door opens easily.
