It evens out, though, because I'm a day late catching up on my LJ.

Thank you. It took me forever to get to sleep the night before last because I kept coughing (persistent coughing all night is overcoming nausea as my least favorite cold symptom).

But, the actual day was pretty good. I did some work with the graphics tablet that I'll eventually post. I got lots of mail. avatra dragged me out to see I Love Huckabees, and I really enjoyed that, so, despite being sick, it was a pretty good birthday.

As the only person on your friends list who was actually there on your first birthday, let me express my embarassment at being the third poster on this list.

Tip for a great birthday party : get the Alamo to do something on your birthday just once. Knowing Austin people, they will just keep throwing the party year after year, even after you've moved out of the country.

Heh. I'm sure you're the first one to wish him a happy birthday after sleeping and waking up. The rest of us were just up late. ;)
