Kinda delightful letter by the professor (JRR T) to the German publisher of the hobbit.
When asked if he was of Aryan ancestory by the German translator of the hobbit, J.R.R. Tolkien issued the following reply through his agent (who, regrettably, sent a more tactful reply). The entire letter is linked below, but I loved this excerpt especially.

Moving day
Moving out of my house. No house to move in to. Moved to tears of sadness and relief that k and I were so unhappy together, and the hope that we'll be happy apart.

Experiments week of January 17-24
Instead of new years' resolutions, I am conducting experiments this year.
Currently, I have three experiments underway.
- Find out what happens to my well being when I keep my blood sugar spikes down and walk 20 minutes a day -- all other exercise and diet restrictions are optional, but I lay of the refined flour and sugar absolutely.
