I don't agree with James Lileks' politics.

But when it comes to hosting and poking fun at images from old books, he always makes me grin. He's just posted some photos from a section he calls "Hell on Ice."

This is the best (and most frightening) one.

The boys are both perfectly healthy, and never going to pass on their adorable little genes.

Charlie's decided his favorite toy is the plastic lid from a water bottle. He can play hockey with it, and carry it around in his mouth. This toy will definitely have to be put away when I go to bed, though.

If you're not already reading ossuarian, now is a very good time to start.

As a swing state in this year's presidential election, we're being deluged with advertising from all sides. The one that irritates me most at the moment is the one that claims:

"John Kerry is the most liberal man in Congress".

I now have two kittens. The boys are at the vet today getting their shots, licenses, and their tiny balls removed.

I still have a 7' orange couch. There are some cat scratchings on the corners. It's orange and fuzzy except for the back cushions which do not match.

I will give this couch to the first person who arrives at my door with the means to transport the couch away.

I found myself in the bookstore in the aisle between Horror and Romance. So, yes, I bought the newest Laurell K. Hamilton book.
