Glad to hear the ticket issue worked out that well. I was expecting them to knock it down to just below reckless. That's also a common outcome for people with good records that don't really deserve the without lube treatment for one silly ticket.

Trust me, having a lawyer with you helped. He also should have told you where to be and what time to be there. Not just a general "at this court" but a place where you guys could meet or at least where the general/traffic courtrooms are and how to find out which one you'd be in. But that's just the good customer service in me talking.

So did they specify a traffic school or are they letting you complete the online deal? In all, however, an excellent outcome.

yea seriously. i was just expecting to get it knocked down but still have a ticket.

it was one of those deals where i had talked to a guy, and then he found out which lawyer in his firm was available that day, so i knew the name of the lawyer but hadn't gotten in contact with him prior. but yea, i think it was definitely beneficial to have the representation there with me.

They told me to just go find a course to take, online or otherwise, and i just have to send in that certificate along with my court fees by 3/21. so should be okay.

Awesome, you can do one of the online ones, mail it in, and be done. Super Schweet. They may not have told you to do this but I'd send all of that together by registered mail, btw. Just in case.

Wow, dude. Good job! Traffic school is BORING but definitely worth not paying all those fines. Plus, you get a discount from your ins company!
