22 days till my art show opening, instead of working on paintings im taking apart my sinks plumbing before i go to work till 12:30. not looking good.

a series of paintings or other works is just a cheap way of extending an idea for a painting and making it a bunch of paintings.

that being said im working on a new robot series.

okay so this whole BP oil spill thing has got to be bad when i, the poster child for apathy, actually avoid the BP gas station for another company.

fuck whats happening to me, next thing you know im gonna vote.

i freaked myself out last night reading about roswell.

and to make things worse today i looked up what the real life kid that they made that movie "mask" about looked like, scared the fuck out of me. its just not right.

i built a light box yesterday out of scraps from my work. ive been kicking the idea around for a while, but this weekend i got the bug and started scrounging around the garage for things i could use. i was going to buy the lights from ikea or some place, but then i remembered i had a shit ton of florescent light fixtures at work just collecting ( Read more... )

its a good thing the new bass rig is on its way, i think my old amp is crapped out. i couldnt hear myself at band practice today, all i could think is next week youll be twice as loud, just hang in there. allans going to seattle at the end of the week so no more band practice for two weeks, im gonna work on one of our songs by myself and make it ( Read more... )

bass rig is complete, albeit smaller than i originally intended, i got higher quality gear than i ever expected. time for the tech jargin, i got an acoustic 370 head, which was made in the 70'sand pumps out 230 watts at 4 ohms and a whopping 365 watts at 2 ohms, which is a ton for those of you not in the know. as an added bonus i got a sweet deal ( Read more... )
