Starting my weekend by finishing a very nice bottle of Bordeaux. Ah...

The new brakes on my bike STOP! I tap the back brake and it stops so sharply that it almost bucks me off my bike. I wonder how long it'll take to wear this pair down.

I have a whole bunch of things to do this weekend.

time for new brakes. My back brakes are shot, and I kinda like them if I want to ride quickly at all. Which I do.

I still havn't gotten around to posting baseball pics of last weekend maybe tomorrow morning.

Hmm. First day it matters and the Cubs seem to have won their game and the yanks lost theirs. Huh.

I can't believe how busy my weekend's been. Since my alarm went off on at 5:45 friday morning, I've worked a 10- and 12-hour day, went to two games at the new yankee stadium, a team practice at citi field, had brunch with a group of people at work, and had dinner with a friend from albany. A couple months ago a work crew, probably for one of the utilities companies, dug a pair of holes in the street on one block. In New York, this happens every day. In fact, I'm willing to bet next month's rent that somewhere in the city a crew is digging up a couple new holes as I type.
