the trip to new york was successful.

hannah is now officially my fiance!

also, we put 2800 miles on natalies car, drove all over new york, did lots of things, and had lots of fun!

i'm excited!

early tomorrow morning i leave for new york, i plan on giving hannah her ring . . .

so hopefully all will go well, i'm sure it will, all the plans are already in motion, in fact, we have a date already, may 7th

so i went out to my car this morning to get some stuff and i noticed that the door wasn't closed all the way . . .

they got my stereo and my entire cd collection.

this is sweet!

i'm sitting here at the quickbuild in the food tent and im on the internet!

someone nearby must have a open wireless network, i hope they dont get mad!

once again, i am baking bread. last time it didn't turn out right, the pastry flour didn't rise right and the bread was dense and hard. that doesn't mean that i didn't eat it but it does mean that i wasn't content with the quality. so today i bought real 100% whole wheat flour and the loaves have risen beautifully and now are baking to their hearts ( Read more... )

its been an interesting last couple of weeks to say the least. i'll have to tell you about it sometime.

i'm baking bread! unfortuanatly, it is not whole wheat cause the only whole wheat flour we have is pastry flour and that just does not work for bread. so its only part whole wheat. but hey, we can't all be perfect!

i'm going to a hay-ride this

ah . . . so i'm back from new york . . . and now i'm still 2 hours from home not wanting to leave the glory of high-speed here at the Cooksey's . . . we had a wonderful time up there, got to see the new printing presses at walkill and even got to eat lunch there thanks to a bethalite in Hannah's congregation. but of course i'm sad and am already ( Read more... )
