i am super rusty with my japanese--it's been about a year since i practice it at all so i personally can't help very much but i went ahead and forwarded this to my friend who is advanced in her japanese studies. :) i'll let you know what she writes back.
ahaha, she was super speedy with her response and this is what she answered back:
Man, I'm not that great, but still, I'd love to help! :DD
1) "They're delicious, but it may be so strong that some have questioned whether it would get people who can't hold their liquor well drunk."
2) I'm not sure exactly what this means, sorry! I Googled what "de narimasen" means but I got no answers. ><
3) 僕は大晦日らしいことは何一つしていません "I don't do any single thing New Year's Eve-like." (I guess he doesn't do anything on New Year's Eve that most Japanese traditionally do.)
4) Haha, man, this is a tough/funny one. He could either be drunk and saying "Instantly naked" but making typos, or he could be making a pun that has to do with the color red, and I always have a hard time getting Japanese puns. XD Or I could be totally wrong, haha!
5) The "-zu" forms are common replacements of "-nakute" in written Japanese speech. So "moraenakute" = "being unable to receive."
WOW! I meant to comment right after I saw this -heck, she was quickly!♥- but life got in the way. Anyway, THANK YOU so much for you and for your amazing friend who took the time to help me out! :D The blog texts make much more sense now, esp 1 and 3. And 4 -he was drunk, no questions about that XD; I'm very bad at picking up Japanese puns, unless they're very blatant, like once Waka of Danger Gang wrote "Yo-rokku-shiku" instead of "Yoroshiku", asking people to support her rock :) So, it never occurred to me to look at 4 as a pun.
Anyway, thanks again, please forward my gratitude to your friend^^b
