I don't know why I'm sentimental right now, but this was a very touching clip. Oh, ARGH.
The neighbour had a minor kitchen reno: new countertops, new kitchen sink, new dishwasher. I have reno envy right now.

I rolled my eyes when the Twilight craze hit mainstream news. It was "Buffy and Angel" all over again, to me. A couple of people I respect very much in my writers' group persuaded me to read more than a few pages selected at random in various parts of the book before I condemned it.

My Mojo is sputtering - but I have an almost-FO!
I give you: THE UGLY OWL! It's a stash-buster, what can I say? I didn't buy any flannelette for this baby... and I've had the pieces sitting in a plastic bag for MONTHS waiting for me to feel so much like not sewing that I had nothing better bundled for my Wednesday night sewing circle.

One of the reasons I started a sewing business in my home was because I had chemical sensitivities - to fragrances and solvents. That effectively put me out of the manufacturing, office, and you-want-fries-with-that workforce. It seems everyone wants to make their mark with scent.
