Even though I have nothing to update with.

I just did three hours of gardening yesterday, pulling up weeds. I wanted to do half an hour, just for some peace and quiet, and it turned into three hours. Oops.

My sister got bitten on the arm by a spider this week. She didn't see it, she was asleep, but she woke up with a pus filled bite, and an arm that ached all over.

I think it was probably a Redback spider, because she felt really sick the first day, very nauseous. Her whole arm has also been sore for three days, with radiating pain, so it's a pretty ( Read more... )

Ich fühle mich irgendwie verlohr'n jezt wo ich nicht mehr Deutsch jeden Tag höre. Zu mindest hat meine Mutter immer noch Deutsch mit mir gesprochen, biß letztes Jahr. Jetzt spreche ich gar kein Deutsch mehr im Alltag. Ich hab zwar noch Bücher und Musik, und am Telefon mit meiner Tante, aber an sonsten habe ich Tag zu Tag mit meiner Muttersprache ( Read more... )

Magpie is SO excited to see viciousdisorder's kids on Friday - she's been babbling on about it all day - and I still need to clean the house! Why can't the house vacuum itself? That would be nice.

Today, I learnt the brute way of opening a washing machine door that is jammed. I also succeeded in drenching my shoes and socks, and the entire laundry in the process ( Read more... )
