May Update
As usual, no major events to report, but a smattering of little things:

April update
Going day after day through mostly the same routine, it's eay to let time slip by and forget to post.
We're in the thick of spring here, with temps swinging from the high 60's through the low 80's, mostly in the 70's. We've been getting a decent amount of rain which has thankfully been easing the drought, but unfortunately it appears to be timed to ( Read more... ) -

Good stuff
We got a special treat Thursday- the Garth Fagan Dance Company came to Raleigh to perform! I got to see a couple of my favorite pieces plus some new stuff. I wasn't sure how enthusiastic the audience around these parts would be, but the dancers got plenty of cheers and a rousing standing ovation, just like at home.

So Alyssa had her final basketball practice last night, at which the coach invited us parents to scrimmage against the girls. Having watched the games from the bench every week, it certainly looked like a lot of fun. Goodbye, Gowron
Gowron put up a long and valiant fight against recurring UTIs over the past few years. We finally ran out of options and had to say goodbye to him.

Head pounding on desk week
For about a week and a half, I've been unable to get a non corrupt driver to build so that I could begin testing my 120 files worth of changes for my first project at work. We tried reimaging my test machine, redoing my build environment on two different machines, and scouring my environment to figure out what was different. Even drivers built and ( Read more... )
