I don't know what the words say, but the picture is beautiful!
I had the same thing happen with my e-mail account and they put me on something like probation. I think they gave me six weeks to wait and then sent me a code to my secondary account (hubby's email) to reset my password. Since then I've taken my password off of automatic expiration and I've written down the password and security question and keep them in a secure place.
I'm happy to see that you moved over to AO3 and I've been following you there. I know I shouldn't try and influence you, but I'm hoping that Spike and The Gift are the ones you pick to finish. Take care and good luck in finding someone to translate! :)
Glad to see you are back, although I am mostly looking forward for your updates of 'The Elf and the Dragon'.
Whoa, you took a real challenge with this cross-stich project. It is really beautiful. After a bit of googling I found this site, which has words typed out, so I was able to copy them into translator. 财运亨通 - 'Live long'
Thanks! I'm trying to get back in the swing of writing instead of just reading everything I can get hold of, lol! Hopefully it won't be too long before the Elf and the Dragon starts nagging at me :D
That sucks about your email. I usually refuse to change passwords until it actually FORCES me to. I hate remembering new passwords. I have too many as it is.
I would look forward to either of those stories being updated. :)
As I posted above, it translates to "profits pouring". I can give you sites that might help you look it up. However, the stylized calligraphy of the characters will probably make it really difficult. I knew generally what I was looking for the calligraphy kept messing me up.
But that is a really beautiful cross-stitch. What size count is it?
Hey, thanks! Makes sense with the waterfalls, I guess :D It's 11 count - one of those specially vanishing-ink printed versions. It's four feet long, but I got the partially stitched one to try it out, so it should actually go quick. I have fully stitched ones on the way, different pictures, of course!
I had the same problem some months back, even though I wait till the last possible moment - when they force me to, basically - to change my password. It's such a bother! But, yeah, it wouldn't accept the new password or my security question, and it kept saying it had sent to my second account, but didn't! I think I waited just over a week for it to actually work, when the message both reached me - and it accepted the new password! So annoying.
I'm glad to see you're back, and as well as on Ao3; love that site! And I'm not trying to influence you…but I'm a Spike-aholic, especially when it's so well written, so…yeah. ;)
Lastly, I had no idea what the picture said, so I'm glad someone answered. I just thought I'd mention that it's a lovely piece, with or without the words! That should take you some time to do, but I bet it's fun. :)
stupid email naggsasunaruhinaAugust 6 2015, 07:29:01 UTC
that stupid email nagged was sent as a scam and hack to get your account. You should have gone straight to the site( not through the link from the email) and changed it. is your livejournal or yahoo account hacked. if it's the livejournal account, you can just try to sign in normally and chose forgot password. hopefully they did not change your username or try to connect someone who controls the site for help.

It is actually "财源滚滚" (Cai Yuan Gun Gun). It means "profits pouring" (or as a direct translation: your money/wealth source surges).
