I was wondering if you were classed as snowed-in. :-D

For some reason you've put the singing options exclusively in the present (unlike the instrumental ones) rather than whether people used to be in choirs, bands etc.

Not really snowed in, but not exactly rushing outside either ;-)

The singing questions were written last, and I had some difficulty in phrasing them, but I wanted to actually post...

(do you get email notifications?)

i'm curious what sort of group we can get together, though!

The getting together might be the trickiest part of that. Jamming sessions are still somewhat difficult over the internet or other world-wide communications systems. Timing matters more in music than for mere conference calls.

heee yes.

i'm assuming this was a hypothetical band.

though i've sung with someone over the phone it doesn't really work very well. not if you don't have like... a huge arse satellite and a studio of sound techo's to sort it all out for you... and even then things can go wrong!

Yes, I do - thanks, honey ♥

Wee, I love polls. Filled it in. ;) violin, guitar (both kinds) piano, drums and panpipes, that was me. Oh, and I sing when no-one can hear me! :)

I hope you're okay. I wasn't able to get into town today, due to bus cancellations but I HAVE to get in tomorrow, no matter what happens. It said it was due to get worse overnight and I'm really hoping it doesn't...I like the snow, in fields and gardens and woodlands, but not on the roads, etc. *snugs*

Not even yourself? ;-)

Haha, no. Not even myself! Well, maybe a little bit, but I don't want to promote that. It's not pretty. ;)

Piano, drums, panpipes and singing - you could start a one-woman folk group! I like :)

That seems entirely reasonable to me - currently I have tunes from "Learn to Play" books stuck in my head for similar reasons.

We are properly snowed in here on the north downs, as we always are (am at the parents!) And it's still coming down!! It comes up to my knees!! Cars keep on getting stuck in the road and being towed away by jolly sorts in Land Rovers. Most entertaining. And my school is closed. Yay!! Sadly, of course, I left a decade ago ;)

Had fun with the poll, but was disappointed that there was no ticky box for being 'the irritating sod who didn't just like playing the piano in school assemblies but also composed the music for the school productions.' Yes, you may throw a snowball at me...

I'd better join you in dodging the snowballs then.

*g* They'll never hit us! We can hide behind the piano and hurl handwritten sheet music back at them...

Paper doesn't travel through the air as well (especially not soggy paper) unless it's bound into books or similar.
