I enjoy this meme, and I've done it twice before: Round 1 and Round 2, so here we go again with the 2009 remix, because I know what I like with or without avocado puree :-)

Warning, eclectic mixture, in no particular order - some may be somewhat obscure ;-)

I like Data, and Ford, and Pygar - and Gary is lovely, but I don't think any are my top picks ;-)

I have to say I mostly remember Dunstan as a bit useless?

Vaarsuvius is the best character idea, but not the best character, at least from my viewpoint.

2. The Lord of the Rings - PIPPIN??!?!?!? Because how can anybody have a favourite LotR character who is not Pippin???? That would just be crazy talk.

18. Merlin - EEP, UM, OMG I AM PRETTY EXCITED AND DISTRACTED BY THE FACT THAT YOU EVEN LISTED MERLIN HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! I CAN'T THINK WHO YOU'D LOVE MOST, BECAUSE HOW CAN YOU NOT SIMPLY LOVE ALL OF THEM?! ... Ok, how about ... er, Merlin? No, Gwen? No, Gauis? OMG I DON'T KNOW. (Do you also want to shag Morgana?)

I am rather fond of many of the Merlin characters, but you have not guessed correctly yet. A little research might help you here... And you have excellent taste in kick ass princesses in lovely dresses ;-)

You might well think so, but actually he's a little too randomly thick and inconsistently evil for me.

The scenes where he talks to Morgana about her father and they interact like equals is very endearing, but most of the time Uther is rather arbitrary.

Goodness gracious me! Either I have no knowledge of the things whereof you speak, or it's been so long ago that I've forgotten everything I ever knew. Except Lord of the Rings. If you're talking about the books, I'd guess maybe Frodo. But if it's the movies, surely it's Pippin, because he's so cute and sings so heart-breakingly lovely.

This is a post of both very old things, some of which have been dredged up in my memory by the wonders of the Internet, and some of which are new since last time I did this meme - most of the easy ones were got in Rounds 1 & 2, so I'm not being very fair - apologies ♥

Of the new things, you might like Merlin, which is rather silly and a very strange deviation from the original myth, but contains much prettiness and some good best mates interaction.

Yes, I have decided to fan Merlin vicariously, because the fics and pics I've seen have been delicious. But we don't have a television, so I can't watch it myself.

Good guesses - since this is Round 3 it is extra hard - especially as it has the leftovers from the previous rounds. I'll be amazed if anyone gets some of them now - but sometimes you make amazing connections that way ♥

It's probably between Mark and Howard, but think I'll have to go for Mark, having just watched the 'Shine' video - cenea may have had some influence here as well ;-)
