The start of p14 has another one of those marks that may or may not be intended to be part of the text. Ignoring it, other than as a word break, gives the most translatable form as:

и падали жертвы со стоном

And victims with the moan fell

But I can't find this snippet with Google ;-(

How about chickens on p18 instead of ducks:

I'm struggling too much with the sideways page 21 and I've lost the zoom on p23 too. However, that last one might begin (with the name of a letter and then some stuff which vaguely makes sense):
