Oooh, I missed a bit when I read the news post the other day: "We will be getting in touch with users to follow up on their ideas in the new year"!

Obviously the wonderful innovation that was putting actual news in a news post was purely a one-off event and we will now hear nothing more until easter.

A very fun read and probably accurate.

"We still don't have anything resembling a policy update, but after three months of studying the problem, we've come up with an exciting an innovative step forward: We're going to make an LJ community to discuss the matter! We're inventing a new wankfest official community, so's to keep the complaints about the user policy away from the official comms that are watched by advertisers and non-LJ members."

That is beautiful and perfect and just *loves*. In some ways SUP is far more brilliant than 6A ever was. When the news community exploded over Strikethrough, 6A only made lj_biz to hide all the changes and take the brunt of our cat macros. But SUP has already made 3 new communities so the comments are divided. Now our feedback can be ignored more easily.

And the goatse'd reference at the end. How adroit.
