Just saw That 1 Guy at the Speigel Garden and it was AMAZING. Seriously, go see him. If you're a musician or not, you'll be amazed. I only caught about 5 minutes of him at Vaudeville last year and totally fell for his sound. Saw the full show and it felt like it only lasted 5 minutes, it was over way too soon. New year was good. Epic/soul destroying/character building walk there from the bus station in horrible weather. Couldn't actually move sometimes and other times forced me to run. Finally, had to wait like 2 hours to be told to go back at 8pm. Got a drill shoved in my head a few times and that was that. Turns out an old filling was killing a nerve and I need the nerve taken out at some later point. Now half my mouth is numb, it's weird.

I got ID'd to buy fucking chocolate extract from Sainsbury!! Turns out it was actually 46% alcohol but... chocolate extract??! It's only cos they didn't have any bloody cocoa powder too ( Read more... )
