Prop 8 still being decided at California Supreme Court.
The California Supreme court finished hearing legal arguments last thursdays, and the fate of proposition 8 is still unknown. If they want to, the justices can wait three months to give an opinion, but I think they will deliever it way earlier ( Read more... ) -

California is in the shitter...
The past few years have been quite tumultuous for the California State government. Red ink has abounded, and the legislature has had a budget every year almost for the past six years. An interesting proposal in the California Assembly
It could happen, California could take a step towards outright legalization of Marijuana. Against the backdrop of recent raids on medical marijuana dispensaries, however, I highly doubt the Feds will accept this rolling over. So, now that I am a college graduate, the next step seems like it would be straight forward. Get a fucking job...however, this has not been as easy as I first thought it would be.
