Considering that I have had a speech class before (albiet, I did not pass it, although I nearly did), I assumed that I would be able to give a fairly decent speech today. It was only 2 minutes long, so I brainstormed an idea the other day and outlined it ( Read more... )

you know, speeches are a hard thing to do, they do require a great deal of practice, and only then will you get a good grade.

yeah, I figured that out. I actually remember quite a bit of what I learned in Fall quater 2002 when I took this same class before (i didnt pass it however).

Practise will help me struture more of what I want to say (and try and not worry about how unprepared I am when I give it).

Please you guys.. Just spell practice right for once! Speech isn't easy.. But even if you fail a thousand times.. Think about this, as long as you gain the knowledge, and practice the skills.. Even if you can't impress a teacher, I'll bet your casual conversations will become very fluent and diplomatic.. Which is always a good thing.
