Well the Marie Antoinette gown I had planned on making was sidelined...I'm still drafting out the pattern. I took a break from that to make this little number. It doesn't really fall into any specific historical category, more crossing over a few. That's how I roll...

Still not 'true' to the movie gown, but it's stripey and makes me happy:) I used Simplicity 4092 as a base for just the panniers...let me just say this pattern is atrocious! As I've come to expect from The Big 3, the pieces simply DO NOT match up, so when I say base I mean I tried it their way, it blew giant monkey chunks, and I then reworked it ( Read more... )
