I am sitting here surrounded by spanish books, completely immeresed in this language I love. Stereolab is serenading me in the background. I opened all the windows and the front door, and the sun is bathing the entire house in light. Hektor's pretty face smiles at me everytime I open my phone. This is happiness.

I don't write in this much anymore, but since this journal will most likely live in the silly cyberspace world forever, I want to remember this:

I am happy.

Perhaps it is cliche that  today is today. But I love my mom. So much. 
And I hope she knows how much I appreciate her.

Today my mom and I had one of those serious, over-all and bandanna wearing, dirty face, back-breaking, sweaty cleaning days. And it was the most fun we have had together in a while. 3 days. I can't believe he is moving in 3 days. I joke with him and pretend I am not sad, but inside I have this dull ache that just won't go away. I am losing my best friend who just happens to be my brother.
