my first (semi) bitchy customer
While working express checkout yesterday (around noonish), an old woman (probably in her 50s or 60s) enters my line with two ears of corn and an eastern cantaloupe (the regular every-day variety). I ring her up and tell her the total is $4.37.
"Shouldn't the cantaloupe be $2.50?" she asks me. "I saw an advert with cantaloupe for $2.50."
