Music and Lyrics

Ha. I totally thought the band in Music and Lyrics, the Drew Barrymore/Hugh Grant movie that was surprisingly enjoyable, was Wham. Apparently the movie's group was Pop! and Wham! was a real group. Who knew?

Lyric-wise, I've been listening to a lot of KOIT lately. One of the songs that they've been hitting in heavy rotation is Rihanna's Don't StopRead more... )

Ouch -- I remember what happened to the cotton washcloth I soaked in bleach to clean the shower, a while back. Not only was it thoroughly bleached colorwise (which was irrelevant, as it was white), but after a few hours of that it had completely lost all of its structural integrity, and just ripped apart at a tug.... Hope your clothes fared better! (Maybe color-safe bleach doesn't do that so much.)

Wham! started off as like an entertainment engagement outfit..a party band. Think of it as like your wedding band, comes with entertaining personnel who do not sing and act like a cheerleader, pretty girls who dance, and some guy who can't play guitar but look cute for the ladies, etc ( ... )
