So... before bed, I tried to install OpenOffice Writer on my XO, just to be severe fancypants, since typing in nano kind of sucks.

Wow that's... about the same size as debug excel + bare minimum dependencies.

I think the 'minimum install' is probably bigger, though.

What's funny is that...it doesn't work. I can open it just fine, but if I try and open a document it goes all splodey.

Maybe I need to get a 1.x package instead of 2.3.
