RIP laser

So i'm guessing i've pissed off some higher power or something. Was feeling pretty good at 2.30pm. My cat's alive and chipper, $114 was a small price to pay. And my pride and joy, my 1985 ford laser was newly de-rusted, painted, cleaned, generally looking beautiful.. it was at the mechanic for a quick once over. Seeing as it had a service a month ( Read more... )

we'll immolate it and drive it off a cliff in a desert while Wolfmother scream out White Unicorn on a stage made completely from old car parts. That would be pretty rock. And we could film it with high speed film as it leaps into space one final time to go to its smashy firey end, and brakes be damned.

hahaha i like it!!!! however i'm thinking a merge of that plan with something involving a cliff on the sea. Much more poetic. The little laser meeting its end getting smashed to pieces as the waves crash around it.. and, oh, i dunno. Maybe go wanky arthouse cinema style and have some random singing an aria with a trickle of blood coming down like tears as the waves engulf the Silver Shadow??

Fucking cars and their expensiveness! Last time mine was serviced it cost $2000. The car is only worth $10,000. Then you add on the cost of insurance (mine will be about $1700-$1800 for comprehensive) and argh!

haha at least when your car's worth $1500 max (i paid $850) insurance not so necessary. i figure it'll do me good walking.. but fuck me i'd forgotten how ridiculously crap sydney public transport is. hopefully will have my student card back in a few days though. that'll help. and it's free fitness training. but cold, wet days/nights??? SUCK

by the by i'll be your way tomorrow if you're free to meet up at all :-)

Cool when will you be around? I'm currently at home awaiting delivery of my new bed. At 1pm I have to pick up the boy to take him to the airport so he can go to Europe! I may have to pick up my grandmother from domestic terminal afterwards, but I'm not sure yet as she has yet to call to confirm.

But yeah send me an sms to let me know when you'll be around and I will see where I am!

nice! my bed is one of my favourite things in the world, splurged bigtime on an expensive mattress few years back when i was feeling cashed up.. never regretted it!

had a later start to the day than i intended to.. i'm still at home myself. oops. heading out soon, haven't decided whether to go in via gym or just head straight to uni way. and awww.. the airport dropoff. i like it!! i always volunteer for airport duty, sounds weird but get weird vicarious pleasure from watching other people go on exciting trips. ha.
i'll sms when i'm about. have you got the bed yet??
