I said Happy Birthday (even though it was a day early [on the 1st]). Besides, Derek and I have planned what we're doing for your birthday, we just need a sitter and one is out of town and the other just had a baby. We did not forget.

I know you didn't forget. you were excluded from that when i said "all of you forgot (or rather most of you)" the most of you part was meant to distinguish that, but i guess i could have worded that one just a bit better :S

it's just that the memory of your birthday didn't surface until after if occurred, that's all.
