Chemotherapy
My chemotherapy certification class starts this week. What that means is that after the class and a probationary period, I will be able to infuse chemo on my own. I've been awaiting this impatiently for a year now because I do work on an oncology floor and whenever I have a patient who needs chemo, I have to get a different nurse to do it. My Beltane Weekend at Circle
The dancing of the May pole, the jumping of the fire, the pounding of the drums, the crowning of the May Queen... I did it all this past weekend. Well, I wasn't the May Queen, but I was there when she was crowned. It was beautiful and wonderful and magical all at the same time. It was Beltane.

Bad Advice (Not that it was advice...)
Because I had been shuffling through old LJs earlier in the week, I came across a posting that referenced Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. I was intrigued. A Good Cause
I have been thinking about it for a while now and since it was my birthday I decided to cut off my hair. It's been getting a little too long and I've been stuck with pretty much a tied up pony tail for the last six+ months. So once again I decided to give to Locks of Love. Tori has done it once as well. Chiropractics
One week ago today, I woke up with a serious pain in my back (low Ls and sacral). It was pretty bad. By the end of the day it was excruciating. By mid-afternoon Sunday, I could barely stand/walk. New Baby
I don't think I've mentioned it yet, but here's what we've been up to: Her name is Kalli (derived from Kali, Goddess of Destruction, sharp pointy teeth and all). She is another Pembroke Corgi who is currently eight weeks old. She comes from the same parents as Cadi. We have been taking turns sleeping on the couch because she needs to potty ( Read more... ) -
