Pretty much what I figure - that is a small price to pay for a bit of intrigue on a wet afternoon.

Although am quite stunned at my workmates just flat out saying 'No, no way would we give a stranger anything'.

I hate to say it, but in my experience anyone who drives an Audi never lets their wallet (or their keys) out of arm's reach.

Furthermore I'm kinda sure that Audi's probably come with keyless entry. Makes it a little harder to lock yourself out.

I admire your social conscience, but I reckon you got played.
