Thanks for the birthday wishes Elle :D I had a great night, although i'm paying for it today, hangovers are horrible.
Lmao about owning a wallaby, we have bushland behind our house that is just full of them, but i don't know if you can actually keep them as pets, especially outside of australia. They come in our yard sometimes and my dog is scared of them. They're beautiful creatures though.
APPARENTLY, you can own wallabies (sp?). This is actually what struck up our conversation. Dan was supposedly walking down the street and he saw someone walking their wallaby. Mind you, I live in America. And not only that I live in the suburbs of one of the preppiest towns in America. I'm confused too *nods*.
LMAO, Walking a wallaby, ok, now i've heard everything!
Wallabys and Roos are practically at pest proportions these days, it's actually even become legal to shoot them to eat since our country is in such terrible drought and they're eating the food the farmers put down for their livestock... no wonder Kangaroos and Emus are holding shields on our national coat of arms... i don't know of any other country that eats their fauna icons! So yeah, i've got nothing against them being shipped off to other countries as pets, i'm sure that's better for them than ending up as a farmers dinner!
"yeah, i've got nothing against them being shipped off to other countries as pets"
I was actually just informed by Dan that he is no longer interested in wallabies because the only way he'd be able to obtain one was from texas. And they'd have to ship it in a box. And in his words: "That's mean..."
The other day my friend was telling me how popular I apparently am. I didn't believe her. But now I get what she means. I hang out with everyone. Which I suppose is a nice quality to have...?
