The Basics (Can't Really Change Them)
Name: Emily
Age: 32
Location: Australia

Currently, what are you...
... Reading? Tuesday Mooney Talks to Ghosts by Kate Racculia. I'm about 100 pages from the end and I think it's going to get a 3/5 rating from me.
... Watching? I don't really watch stuff except when I am sick and don't have the attention span to read.
... Listening to? Lately a lot of classical music. I'm not really an enthusiast and I don't really recognise particular pieces or composers, I just enjoy having it on in the background to listen to. I'm also a musical theatre nerd. And I know all the words to most Disney songs.
... Playing? Escape room apps. That's about as far as my gaming career goes. XD
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? I work in a library but I am not technically a librarian. I'm also working on two different pieces of writing that I will eventually self-publish (I have already self-published a couple of things but I'm working on getting a back catalogue)
... Looking forward to? The weekend! Also ( ... )

Last night I had a stress dream about being unable to access the covid vaccine so that tells you where I'm at.

This made me laugh out loud :D A few months ago I dreamed that we had to race through an old building and the city to get our vaccines. Luckily this was not a premonition and both my shots were done with no racing at all.

Friends?

Everything you're currently watching I am too, haha. What are you thinking about Supergirl at the moment?

Mortal Kombat is a great game, what platform do you play on?

What do you want to open your own business up in?

I hope you enjoy your vacation!

Hello, ellinou, nice to meet you and thank you for hosting! It’s been a while since I felt like adding new readers, and I like what you’ve done with the place! 😉

The Basics (Can't Really Change Them)
Name: Daphne P.
Age: 47
Location: Philadelphia

Currently, what are you...
... Reading? “Wicked” (re-reading for my book club), “The Overstory”, and a novel by a friend.
... Watching? “Offspring”, a totally charming Australian show about a neurotic obstetrician, her charming and eccentric extended family, and her over-involved group of coworker friends. It’s like “The Mindy Project” meets “Grey’s Anatomy” meets “Call the Midwife” only with Australian accents, and I wish more people would watch it so we could complain about how the writing deteriorates but we love it still, and gossip about various characters.
... Listening to? my usual rotation, a mix of folk/indie rock with some reggaeton thrown in.
... Playing? random puzzle games on my phone, mostly. A little Pokémon Go. I don’t write much here about tv, music or games.
... Working ( ... )

Greys Anatomy and Call the Midwife are some of the best medical/heartwarming shows I have had the pleasure to watch.

You make dollhouses? That sounds so freaking cool!

Where are you planning on travelling to next?

Adding you, where you can peep the dollhouses. I’m going to New York next week for the first time since before the pandemic, but I was hoping to make an impulsive trip to Paris as soon as possible-my friends and I were thinking November. With the restrictions increasing again, rather than relaxing, I’m afraid to book it, at the moment. Hopefully this is a short wave that passes quickly.

Currently, what are you...
... Reading? I just borrowed a bunch of non-fiction books about Finnish mythology from the library and have been browsing through them but not really started any of them yet.
... Watching? I rarely get to watch anything on my own, but last weekend we decided with my partner to re-watch Breaking Bad (3rd time watching it for me! It's so great, I feel like I want to watch it every year.) The last couple of times I've got to watch anything by myself I've picked documentaries on Netflix, such as Minimalism and What The Health and so on. But fiction-wise, I'm usually very much into period dramas. Oh, and the Olympics just started, so I'm trying to watch as often as I can!
... Listening to? Varies between calm pagan or folk kind of music such as Faun and Wardruna, and pagan/folk metal such as Moonsorrow and Finntroll. I think of my taste in music as rather wide, but mostly stuff that isn't that mainstream or ( ... )

I like mythology. It's possible I'm on the autism spectrum too. I recommend the sci-fi novel Failure to Communicate by Kaia Sønderby for nice representation.

Do you want to be friends?
