... Listening to? Slipknot, since the sad news of Joey Jordison passing the early hours of this morning.
... Playing? A lot of games.... Animal Crossing always on switch and trying to platinum God of War on my Playstation. I'm also playing Time Princess (a story game) and Hogwarts: A Mystery on my phone.

... Looking forward to? Moving down to Wales with my partner, saving as much as I can for it. Other than that the new Harry Potter game for the PS5.

... Reading? I have two books on the go, one non-fiction and one novel. The first is "Tune In: The Beatles: All These Years", the first in what is supposed to be a trilogy history of the Beatles, written by Mark Lewisohn. The other is "History of Another Timeline" by Annalee Newitz - best described as sci-fi feminist time travel, I guess? Both are out of genre for me - I usually read mostly police procedurals by British/Irish/Scottish authors.
... Watching? I am currently finishing up the 8th and final (I think) season of Spiral (Engrenages) - the French police procedural, as well as season 2 of Mythic Quest, season 2 of This Way Up, and the first season of Kevin Can Fuck Himself. And lots of Olympics and

... Reading? Aru Shah and the City of Gold by Roshani Chokshi. I LOVE THIS SERIES.
... Watching? Hospital Playlist and Bridgerton, though, I've been on the same episode of Bridgerton for like a month now lol.

Mostly a spotify playlist of random music where I seem to just be listening to the same five songs over and over right now: "Run Away with Me" - Carlie Rae Jepsen, "Love Shack" - The B-52's, "Just an Illusion" - Imagination, "Sunder" - Really Slow Motion (this was my most listened to song last year, apparently lmao), and "Loki Green Theme" - Natalie Holt.
... Playing? Animal Crossing Pocket Camp and The Sims 4. I just got the new Sims expansion and now I can live out my dreams of having a llama farm.

... Reading? I just finished a non-fiction book about economics and the history of money and capitalism. That sounds extremely dry and boring but it was actually very interesting and written in an understandable and even entertaining way. Not sure yet which one I am going to read next.
... Watching? At the moment, I am not really watching many shows since I got hugely into Podcasts a couple months ago and so I'm usually listening to those. However, I do regularly watch "Law and Order:SVU" (preferably older episodes) and lots of true crime programmes (ex. "Forensic Files").
... Listening to? A Podcast called "Beach Too Sandy, Water Too Wet". It's two siblings doing dramatic readings of hilarious internet reviews of all kinds of places and things and I can only heartily recommend it if you need a laugh.
... Playing? The only game I play is Pokemon Go, otherwise I am not a gamer at all.

Hilarious Amazon/Yelp/Google reviews are an occasional past time as a way to cheer myself up... so that podcast sounds *perfect* for me... thanks for the recommendation!

I also worked in a mental-health facility for people with debilitating mental illness... which was a very interesting time of my life.. and turns out I really loved it.
