The first is "Tune In: The Beatles: All These Years", the first in what is supposed to be a trilogy history of the Beatles, written by Mark Lewisohn. The other is "History of Another Timeline" by Annalee Newitz - best described as sci-fi feminist time travel, I guess? Both are out of genre for me - I usually read mostly police procedurals by British/Irish/Scottish authors. ... Watching? Hospital Playlist and Bridgerton, though, I've been on the same episode of Bridgerton for like a month now lol. ... Listening to? Mostly a spotify playlist of random music where I seem to just be listening to the same five songs over and over right now: "Run Away with Me" - Carlie Rae Jepsen, "Love Shack" - The B-52's, "Just an Illusion" - Imagination, "Sunder" - Really Slow Motion (this was my most listened to song last year, apparently lmao), and "Loki Green Theme" - Natalie Holt. ... Currently, what are you... ... Reading? I just finished a non-fiction book about economics and the history of money and capitalism. That sounds extremely dry and boring but it was actually very interesting and written in an understandable and even entertaining way. Not sure yet which one I am going to read next. ... Watching? At the moment, I am not really watching many shows since I got hugely into Podcasts a couple months ago and so I'm usually listening to those. However, I do regularly watch "Law and Order:SVU" (preferably older episodes) and lots of true crime programmes (ex. "Forensic Files"). ... Listening to? A Podcast called "Beach Too Sandy, Water Too Wet". It's two siblings doing dramatic readings of hilarious internet reviews of all kinds of places and things and I can only heartily recommend it if you need a laugh. ... Playing?
