The webcomic Eros Inc. has had a lot of strips titled with Elliott's songs lately: "Needle In the Hay," "Oh Well, Okay," and "Bottle up and Explode" among them.

The strips don't really have anything to do with the songs, from what I can tell, but I was a little surprised to see them referenced in any way at all.

British singer-songwriter Bobby Long covered Waltz #2 at one of his shows last month. He tacked it on the end of one of his own songs - it starts at 4:50. He's described Elliott as his Elvis Presley, and I think he does a lovely job of it.

I am such a fool for never having heard this song. It's from his Heatmiser days--"Antonio Carlos Jobim." I am overjoyed, as it is difficult to find Heatmiser songs on youtube where Elliott sings (no offense Neil Gust, you are also cool).
