Same day, but I just wanted to say that we're leaving for NYC on Saturday so I probably won't be back until next week (Fridays are my mom/sister days and I don't get a chance to get online). This whole Katrina thing is just so incredibly horrible. I watched some of the coverage last night and am just amazed and horrified by what these disasters bring out in people. There is such good being done by so many, but I just can't fathom those people who take advantage of others in these situations. I'm usually a pretty emotional person ( Read more... ) -

Saturday has been good so far (well, for me at least). Got up and made coffee with my new coffee maker. It's a single cup coffee maker that uses these little cups (like creamer cups) of coffee to make coffee in about two seconds. It's heaven. Okay, I'm making two entries on one day because I've got some more news. Tooth number two arrived yesterday!! Yep, he's cutting two teeth at once - the bottom two. Poor baby spent most of yesterday whimpering. Every time I gave him some Hyland's teething tablets, he would be asleep 15 minutes later. He slept a LOT too. Took two naps in his ( Read more... ) -

One more thing. I have pacifier issues - always have. I just didn't want E to have one. First for breastfeeding reasons, then for the whole having to take it away eventually reasons. But the kid loves to suck!! So much so that his dad has never been able to put him down to sleep (silly daddy, no breasts!!). So anyway, after trying to get over ( Read more... ) -

I'm lopsided!
The weekend was nice. We did a test run at night (at B's insistence) to see how Elliott would do late at night without being in bed (so we can gauge what the US Open might be like). We went out to eat and to the Gaylord Texan Resort to walk around and check it out. The resort is massive - we didn't get to see all of it - and it was really nice ( Read more... )
