I think you should be fine. We planted a citrus tree about a month ago, and they're selling ones with buds all over town.

Thanks. I suppose it wouldn't be the end of the world if the buds/blossoms fell off, but it would be pretty cool to have some tangerines next spring. I love homegrown citrus because you can leave it on the tree until it's really ripe and yummy!
