i try to stay progressive with music as much as i can. given some of what i listen to, i think i've done a good job thusfar. but i can't help to think that there will be a conversation like this in the future

It's worse though when your parent takes an active interest in the music you like. And then they don't like it and bitch.

but what if they were all up to date on music. you know, copping the total hipster attitude. oh man, that would suck even more i think.
