Hail. We just had chunks of hail coming down. That's a first for July.
You can really hear it on the roof in a one story house. Can't hear much else though :D :D

Cats dove into their safe spaces, refuse to say when they're coming out...

I have to stay alert, according to weather report we have "multiple hazards in effect". Gotta keep an eye on them!

Nasty summer storms it could be if the cats are hiding. They know what they're doing usually.

Yes, England being in a final is about the same level of weirdness to me as a Trump Presidency. It's going to take some psychological adjusting to.

It’s been thundering, lightning and pouring rain here. Our cats dove under the couches.😉

Yeah, we've had roving bands of thunderbumpers all afternoon too. The cats don't like it, but poor Eddie the Dog used to be terrified at thunder. She'd try to hide under the bed, but at 75 pounds, that didn't work out very well.

It was in the 80's today! Never seen anything like that before. Little chunks of ice hitting the ground--they melted immediately, but still...

The cats decided they weren't scared enough to miss dinner ;)

Had a brief, but loud hail storm yesterday here. Today heat index back to 104. Neither are normal for July in a PA mountain valley.

I knew in theory hail in warm weather is possible, but never expected to see it here. We've actually been lucky so far this summer compared to everyone else. A few hot days, but nothing overwhelming.
