K is so cute; she's got in her head that she wants to learn French--even though she despises them politically and sometimes socially. She went out and bought a "Rosetta Stone" and some other language lesson books/Cd's and everything. Every day she asks me what the word or phrase for "X" is but my French is a bit rusty and mostly she's asking for

my boyfriend is taking french this semester. he calls my dog 'ma petit xiuxiu' which he says is 'my little cabbage.' i never know with him though. i find it rather adorable.
