Gackt has got to be the dumbest, most inutile made-up pseudo-Western name in all of j-popdom. And I don't get his whole androgynous thing. (Maybe it's just his take on David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust phase?) Then again, theatrical gender-bending isn't all that crazy coming from the culture that invented kabuki
