Well, we had to do stuff in between meals. Neither one of us was really up for a big touristy weekend, so we mainly did a lot of walking in different places. More walking = more space for food, right?

Or so everyone here likes to say. Realistically, the central areas average around 5-8” of snow each year. But it’s generally not a problem because only a little will fall at a time, it usually won’t stick to the roads at all, and if it does, the temperatures rise in a few hours and it all melts away.

Okay, Seattle Times is just pissing me off now. There was a blurb in the news this morning about a bicyclist who was killed. The image below is the full text (and the article linked pretty much says the same thing). Really?! Including the line about the guy possibly carrying a fast food meal to make it look like it’s his fault?

Hitler’s Cross
While doing some quick research for Nanowrimo, I stumbled upon an interesting piece of news that I somehow missed when it was current back in 2006.
In Mumbai, there was, for a very brief period of time, a restaurant named Hitler’s Cross with a swastika in the logo.
Why?

Oregon Shakespeare Festival 2011 (November)
It’s Day 7 of National Novel Writing Month, and since I just returned from a weekend at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, I’m behind on my word count. And so my typing should be going towards that or towards the job that pays me so I can write a novel or attend a Shakespeare Festival. But I find that I have other thoughts that want to be written.
