I wrote fic! It's been so long - I've been working on this for a couple of weeks, in between working on school stuff. Now I have to get my head around my Sweet Charity fic. Wish me luck..

Ah, Sam. ::pets:: Your time will come. Those legs? Will totally outstrip Dean in a couple of years, you'll be taller, bigger -- it'll come honey.

And in the meantime -- what a bittersweet, believable glimpse of boyhood rivalry, resentment, that all-alone teenage angst feeling. I just wanna smish him! And, um, see him and Dean swimming around. ::cough:: Mmmmmmmmmmm.

Thanks. I'm not sure why I ended up writing such a teen angsty POV fic. But yeah, I'm happy with the visuals in this.

I kind of want to smish Sam in this, but I fear he's so brittle he might break.

Poor Sam, always jealous and insecure in his own abilities. Tough to not be the eldest, eh?

BTW, loved the line "no one’s ever going to write comic books about what they do". Very cute.

Thanks. It's weird writing from the younger child's POV. I can only imagine how my sister felt.

That line was far too tongue in cheek for its own good.

The teen angst is so palpable and believeable here, how much he hates his situation, how endless and pointless it is. Oh, Sammy. And Dean sees it a little, tries to help, but he can't really understand it. Wonderful!

But yes, I agree with janissa11, I'd love the visual, too. ;)

Thanks. I wanted Dean to let Sam win, but not realise that he's not really helping Sam at all. I love Dean's protective instincts, but you're right, he doesn't understand Sam's frustration at all.

Thanks. I'm always aware when I write a teen Sam POV it tends to be quite negative in regard to John. Which is fine, as long as it's clear that it's a tight teen!Sam POV. *g*
