Yep - I am totally going to a midnight release. That way I can start reading that night and stay up so that I won't accidentally be spoiled before I read it.

Wotcher, EMG!

It hits me every so often and I can't decide whether I'm excited or sad to see it happen. Both, I guess, if you want to know the truth. I'm thrilled to finally see how things will end, but after that, no more canon. :(

I'm not planning to do any rereading before hand, though I might pull out book six next week and refresh. I've read so much fanfic that reminding myself what's really gone on would be a good idea! ;)

Bloody Is it time to go home yet?? hell!

Wotcher Ali!

Yeah - I'm thinking I may need to skip ahead to book 6 just to make it in time for the last one. I pretty much know 1-3 like the back of my hand, but I dunno...guess it just is getting me geared up for the last. I am pretty sad but excited at the same time. It's the end of an era!

And yeah - fanfiction can really screw with your head on what has REALLY happened. I can see it now...you getting all confused because Hermione and Snape aren't hooked up in the book! Haha..

Bloody I miss saying this Hell!

Wotcher!

I find it hard to read book 5 and the others I've already read many times, so book 6 is the only one in doubt for me.

End of an Era... wow, that sounds really impressive! *grin*

*laugh* Yeah, I think not having Snape and Hermione together by the end is going to come as a bit of a shock to my system, considering my normal fanfic reading! I'll had to go power through a few of my favorites after to make things balance out!

Bloody I've missed this too hell!

Wotcher Mates!

Not having Draco and Harry hook up at last will be a bit disappointing as well. Or seeing a threesome with Fred and George.

Bloody I miss ships Hell!

Seer vs. EMG ablueskier July 6 2007, 05:53:24 UTC
Long she had waited in the shadows for her master to return to power. Her Dark Lord was finally restored to even more than his original power and stature. For a time she had pretended to befriend the foolish wizards that fawned all over that fool Dumbledore.

Her students believed she was a joke, a fraud, senile and crazy. It had all been a guise. Who would suspect the blustering divinity teacher of being much more powerful than a muggle palm reader? Her time had come at last to show her true colors. With Dumbledore out of the picture there was no one to stand in the way of her beloved. Since first she had been blessed with her Gift she knew of the greatness of the Dark Lord.

She did not fret when He fell for her Senses told her of His continued life and over time the Orb spoke to her of the Dark times to come. Dark but wonderful times. It was time for the Seer to make good on every death sentence she ever proclaimed on her students.

Eloise snapped her grade book shut with a flick of her wand and nodded in satisfaction as she looked around her office. Another term was finished for the year and she couldn't wait to get down to that little vacation home of hers in Bermuda for the summer. All that was left for her to do was attend the end of the year feast and she'd be off to the tropics ( ... )

Tonight at the feast Seer thought to herself. She thought that perhaps poisoning the food of the professors would be a good start at which point she would be free to attack the rest. A poison that would cause death would take a moonturn at least to concoct. She needed something strong and yet fast to just make the other professors incapable of magically attacking her. Perhaps a sleeping potion would do the trick. That was no good if they didn't drink every last drop ( ... )

Eloise noticed that the sign blocking the way to the restricted section had been moved out of place. Were one of the students back there poking around? She stepped down the first row of books in the restricted section and gave her wand a tap, "Lumos," she said in a whisper and then continued her way deeper into the restricted section.

Perhaps she had just been imagining things, or maybe it was Madam Pince back there re-shelving books before school let out for the summer. She decided she was being quite silly and so she turned on her heel to leave the library when she accidentally knocked a book off one of the shelves and it started screaming bloody murder at her.

"Oh crap," she muttered under her breath as she pointed her wand at the book on the floor and said, "Silencio!"

"I am sick of bratty little kids whispering and making jokes behind my back. I am sick of snobby teachers that think they are oh so virtuous. Everyone here is weak and I have had enough of weakness."

As soon as Seer saw Eloise moving her wand she knew she would need a shield. She began the movement for the Shield charm but got tangled in one of her blasted shawls and got hit directly in the nose by the first hex. Suddenly her boogers jumped out of her nose as they sprouted black wings and started attacking her. She finished the motions for the shield charm and thought hard to herself "Protego" just in time to block a babbling curse.

"Is that the best you can do, Professor?"

Seer then screamed out an incantation that could have been none other but the Jelly-Brain Jinx
